The Accommodation

The welcoming entrance hall has stone flagged floors and French windows which open onto a pebbled courtyard with topiary trees, herbs and fragrant roses. The peaceful drawing room with antique furniture and comfortable sofas has an open fire in the winter and leads into the sitting room which has wonderful views of the garden and Rutland Water.

The dining room, where an Aga cooked English breakfast is served, is furnished with period antique furniture and silk curtains.

The Rooms

Twin Bedroom
The stylishly decorated twin bedroom with a nod to China, has a new private bathroom with a bath and shower. This bedroom offers wonderful views of the croquet lawn and paddock towards Rutland Water and  Normanton Church - now a wedding venue, and from another window, Hambleton Peninsular and Oakham can be seen in the distance.

Double Bedroom
The double bedroom offers fine bedlinen and an en suite with bath and a large shower.

Single Bedroom
There is also a single bedroom with a new private bathroom.

All the bathrooms have baths and showers and the quiet and warm bedrooms with comfortable pocket sprung beds and fine linens.

The flat
The flat has twin beds, an ensuite and a sitting area with TV and views over rooftops towards the moorings of Rutland Water.
